Placing a Wedding Cake Order

I look forward to meeting each and every one of my new clients personally. I believe that a bespoke service should be just that. If you are trusting me to create a completely unique cake for your Big Day, then I should be the person who takes the reins from the off, getting the feel for the type of person you are and the type of cake you require.

Wedding cakes are made to order

I should be delighted to invite you to my workshop, located in the beautiful Stour Valley on the Essex/Suffolk borders, for a consultation or, if you prefer, I could visit you at your home.

We can discuss flavours, colour schemes, ideals, likes and dislikes and eventually come up with an exquisite one-off cake for your special day.

At the end of the consultation I will have sufficient information to be able to put together a quotation which I shall send to you in the post as soon as possible.

On acceptance of the quotation, a non-refundable deposit of £150 (or 50% of the cake if booked less than 6 months prior to the date of the wedding) will be required. The balance is payable four weeks prior to the date of the wedding.

Wedding cakes do take a long time to prepare, especially where hand-made flowers and sugar modelling is required, so it is advisable to book a consultation as soon as possible to ensure you don’t miss out on your required date – I will happily take orders up to 2 years in advance of the date of your wedding.

I look forward to meeting you.

Placing an Order for a Celebration Cake or Topper

Celebration cakes and toppers are all made to order

When placing an order for a celebration cake or topper, please call or e-mail with your requirements whereupon I shall endeavour to provide you with a quotation immediately over the telephone or as soon as possible thereafter.

I will require a £20 non-refundable deposit upon acceptance of the quotation and the balance upon collection.

I look forward to discussing your requirements and would appreciate you giving me at least 2 weeks’ notice where possible – however, depending on workload, it may sometimes be possible to accept an order on shorter notice.
